How do I winterise my pool heat pump?
- You simply need to isolate it using the valves designed for this purpose, and unscrew the hydraulic connections.
- On some heat pumps, you will need to remove the drainage plug on the lowest point of the PVC/titanium condenser.
- You can use a blower to evacuate the rest of the water from the condenser, or use a cloth to absorb this remaining water.
- Warning: incorrect winterising can result in breakage of the condenser.
- You can also disconnect it from the electricity network using the circuit-breaker.
- All you have to do now is cover it with a special winter cover.
